Every Plastica Wooden Swimming Pool is delivered as a complete package, with everything needed to make your dream a reality.
All you need to do, is lay a base (Concrete recommended) put up your swimming pool and fill with water – nothing could be more simple.
Or why not employ one of our installation teams to build the pool for you. You'd be surprised how little a complete package is. We can construct the concrete base for an above ground application or, in most cases excavate to sink the pool into the ground. Please contact the office for further details (only available in the South East)
The Plastica Ltd pools are made from a combination of ecologically safe preservative treated Scandinavian Redwood for the walls, and textured hard wood for the top shelf. The combination of materials enables Plastica Ltd to offer a 10 year manufacturers warranty.
All pools are delivered with a blue liner featuring a mosaic tileband.

Does the octagon pool come with a wooden cover (to keep the small children out)? and so you ship to the us? how much would shipping be to california?
Answer The pool comes complete with a debris cover - not wooden. Unfortunately we are unable to ship to the US

Can thi swooden pool be partially sunk in the ground aand what work is involved to do this ? also cost ?
Answer Yes - these pools are quite happy to patially or fully sunk into the ground. After excavation, it is advised to back fill between pool wall and soil with shingle to prevent the soil wall from collapsing. Cost will depend very much on location of pool, how much soil there is to remove and where the soil can be left.

When the pool is installed completely in the ground would i need to use a iner to prevent the timber from decaying?
Answer No - the timber is pressure treated and wax coated. We recomend you back fill the hole using shingle rather than the removed soil.
