Log cabin owners urged to protect against the elements

Log cabin owners should take measures to protect their outdoor equipment against the elements, it has been argued.
An article by Tarpaflex, a UK-based tarpaulin supplier, notes that many people invest "considerable amounts of money" in their homes and exteriors.
"It doesn't just end with the garden furniture; if you enjoy gardening you'll more than likely have various appliances and tools that you rely on to keep the place looking ship shape," it said. "Going into the shed to do the first bit of gardening next spring only to find that your tools haven't lasted too well over the winter is frustrating at best."
Tarpaflex therefore urged homeowners to invest in economical items like tarpaulins which can be used to cover outdoor equipment, thereby protecting items like lawn mowers from the impact of frost, damp and cold.
The comments come after Elizabeth Licata of Troy-Bilt, an outdoor power equipment manufacturer, suggested that autumn is an important season for gardening when various tasks can help create a productive garden for the following season.
