Spend Christmas in a Yorkshire log cabin
» 7th December 2009 «
Brits looking to spend Christmas in a different setting may be interested in visiting a Yorkshire log cabin, a tourism company has suggested.
Yorkshire Cottages has Log Cutter's Cabin - a luxury log home - available for three nights from Christmas Eve.
Priced at £430, the deal will see visitors stay in the grounds of a golf course near Flamborough.
However, rather than a basic, rustic building, the log cabin features its own Jacuzzi bath, with two bedrooms offering en-suite facilities and a further kids' bedroom with child-sized bunks.
Another log cabin is also available on the same site and is known as Fir Tree Lodge, which sleeps four adults in a similarly luxurious setting.
Guests can make use of the course's bar and can visit Sewerby Hall and gardens during their stay.
Meanwhile, Travel Bite recently suggested that Brits could enjoy a white Christmas by heading to Lapland for a log cabin adventure in the snow.
