Carr to spend New Year s Even in log cabin

Comedian and TV presenter Alan Carr has revealed that he would like to own a log cabin.
The star told BANG Showbiz that he dislikes spending New Year's Eve in the UK due to the pressure to have fun and said he would love to own a log cabin retreat in the French Alps where he can escape to whenever he wants.
He explained that he always goes away at this time of year and has in the past visited such far flung destinations as Sydney, Australia, and New York in the US.
However, his plans are different this year: "Maybe I'll got to Val D'Isere.
"I would like a log cabin there - and a hot toddy - it'd be nice to cosy up in the cold at night," he told the magazine.
Carr complained that UK New Year parties normally involve paying to get into a pub that you normally would not visit and said this was not his idea of a good time.
Brits can invest in their own log cabins, which can be useful in the garden or as a summer house.
