Holiday firm offers log cabin accommodation
» 22nd January 2010 «
A new holiday company has been launched this week offering accommodation in log cabins, lodges, villas and caravans.
Michael Paul Holidays specialises in offering breaks to destinations across Scotland, Wales, England and Ireland.
According to VisitEngland, 2009 saw a 22 per cent year-on-year rise in the number of Brits opting for a staycation - a break in the UK.
The new firm was founded by Michael Paul, who has more than 25 years of experience in the holiday and travel industry and claims to know "the good, the bad and the ugly" parts of it.
"I have travelled thousands of miles to vet all our holidays and am proud of what we have to offer," he revealed.
Mr Paul added that there will be new log cabins and other types of accommodation added each week, but only once they have been vetted to the firm's high standards.
Guests of the firm can also take advantage of its partnership with Natural Retreats, which offers eco-friendly, glass-walled residences in the Yorkshire Dales.
Meanwhile, the Blackpool Gazette has revealed that a log cabin at a Fylde coast caravan park has been sealed off after a "serious incident" in which an elderly woman was injured.
