Gardeners given greenhouse tips

Garden enthusiasts who use a greenhouse to help create the perfect outdoor environment may be keen to pick up on the advice on the UK's foremost botanical authority.
The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) recently published tips for those who grow under glass and suggested that heat regulation should be at the forefront of gardeners' minds during May.
It explained that temperatures are rising and have to be controlled by either closing blinds on sunny days or applying shade paint to the outside of the greenhouse.
Other measures include opening vents and doors to increase airflow, but it is also important to give plants space as they are likely to grow much faster during the warm summer months.
Half-hardened bedding plants that have been started off inside can be slowly exposed to the outdoor world by taking them into the garden at the warmest part of the day.
Their time outside should gradually be increased until they are ready to be planted into the earth.
