Memorial garden for Sir Bobby Robson

A special garden dedicated to the legendary Sir Bobby Robson will be opened in the north-east of England, it has been confirmed.
In news which may interest summer house owners, plans have been unveiled for a memorial garden located close to Newcastle United's St James's Park football stadium.
Sir Bobby, who guided England to the World Cup semi-finals in 1990, died almost a year ago at the age of 76 after failing to overcome cancer for the fifth time.
However, he is still revered on Tyneside after stints as both player and manager for the Magpies, while also becoming one of the country's best-loved sporting personalities.
Lady Robson, his widow, revealed that his family have been "very touched" by the plans for the Gallowgate garden.
"It will feature elements of Bob's career from his early days down the mine right up to his work for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation," she said.
"I'm sure Bob would have approved of it too and its location, sitting in the shadow of St James's Park, in the heart of the city, is very appropriate."
Newcastle City Council has enlisted the support of regeneration firm NE1 Ltd to deliver the garden.
