Mobile phone reception a factor in summer house purchase
» 14th July 2010 «
The quality of mobile phone reception is one of the things that a person may take into consideration before buying a summer house, according to research.
TMC Net has reported a study conducted by United Minds on behalf of Telia Denmark, which looks into what considerations Danish people make ahead of making a summer house purchase.
It was discovered that three in ten of the respondents valued good mobile phone coverage as their chief focus when considering which summer house to buy.
Meanwhile, this figure was found to be twice the number of those who would like to have a house with a sea view.
A total of 1,018 Danish people aged 18 or over took part in the study, with other findings including 11 per cent will make a job-related phone call when they are on annual leave.
Individuals may also want to take the chance to be creative with their summer office purchases, with Jay Merrick recently indicating in the Independent that there are many "architecturally interesting" designs to choose from.
