Celebrity gardener builds garden gazebo for children s centre

A celebrity gardener has redesigned and renovated the outdoor space of a children's centre in Wales, adding an attractive garden gazebo. 

TV gardener Diarmuid Gavin got to work on the site in Llwynhendy as part of the Garden Angels segment on ITV's This Morning, This is South Wales reported.

With the help of his team of 'angels', the space was created into an exciting play area for the local children.

Centre manager Karen Powell told the news provider: "The unveiling of the garden was lovely. It was very wet, slippery and muddy, but it went really well.

"We have got a big vegetable plot, where they have planted some blueberries and things for us, and a gazebo area for the parents to sit and relax."

The children were also presented with three playhouses and a seating area was created for the parents.

Garden owners could take inspiration from the celebrity gardener and choose their own thatched gazebos to spice up their outdoor space.
