With winter giving way to spring, many Brits may be looking forward to a summer of barbecues and time spent in the garden.

A colder than normal start to the year may reinforce people's desire to spend some time outdoors in the sunlight and a UK garden website has looked at a number of barbecues that may appeal to those investing in their green spaces this year.

Garden XL recently featured an article on the Napoleon BBQ range, suggesting that the firm may offer the ideal additions to a summer garden.

It reported that the Cairns Ocean blog praised the products, describing them as being full of "modern features and benefits, including double-walled stainless steel lids".

The option to vary cooking heat gives barbecue fans a choice of how to cook their meat and vegetables, while the removable rear rotisserie burner adds the extra option of making "delicious mouth-watering roasts".

Meanwhile, the Peterborough Evening Telegraph has revealed that the barbecue area in Ferry Meadows is being considered as the UK's favourite picnic spot.ADNFCR-2848-ID-19679364-ADNFCR
