A garden log cabin is to be turned into Santa's Grotto for a special charity event.

Mark and Cynthia Wilkinson, founders of Mark Wilkinson Furniture, are turning their garden at Brook House in Bromham, Wiltshire into a "winter wonderland" to raise money for Rowdeford Charity Trust, the Wiltshire Gazette and Herald reported.

The event is due to take place on the weekend of December 4th-5th and will be open from 4pm to 8pm each day.

Speaking to the newspaper, charity trustee Rosie Berry said: "After a magically-lit stroll through the gardens, Santa's log cabin, a nativity tableau with a real donkey and characters from favourite pantomimes for the children to find, bring your visit to a warm conclusion with delicious hot food and drinks."

Rowdeford Charity Trust raises money for Rowdeford School which caters for children with special educational needs.

The winter wonderland event is the first in a series of fundraising efforts aimed at creating a vocational centre in the school grounds.
