More Log Cabins Articles A couple erected a tailor-made garden shed in the expansive grounds of their home in order to create a separate space for planting and relaxing.
Mick and Janet Ankrom showed MyJournalCourier.com around their garden which features a 20 ft by 20 ft shed complete with front porch and swing.
Mr Ankrom, a retired sheet metal worker and welder, explained that the shed had been designed around the needs of his wife.
"I had my woodworking shop and wanted to create a special place for her," he told the website. "She said she wanted a cabin that looked like it belonged on the prairie."
It was also revealed that the Ankroms had added various details to the garden building including iron brackets and old windows to enhance the rustic look.
Meanwhile, a recent article in the Daily Telegraph suggested that homeowners can take various steps to make their gardens more suitable spaces for children to enjoy.
