More Log Cabins Articles A new competition is offering people the chance to enjoy an adrenaline-fuelled adventure break, combined with the comforts of a log cabin stay.
The Mirror said that its prize of a six-night stay in Zion National Park in Utah, US would include accommodation in "a traditional log cabin", as well as such adventure treats as a full day canyoneering experience, abseiling and rock climbing.
"The impressive red rocky terrain will literally be on your doorstep," said the paper.
"The 4,000-acre ranch has a selection of delicious restaurants, an infinity pool overlooking the national park, access to mountain bikes, trekking paths, horse trail rides and much more to make this an unforgettable once-in-a-lifetime experience."
It was revealed that the competition has been launched to celebrate 127 Hours, a new film by British director Danny Boyle which tells the amazing true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston's struggle for survival after a fallen boulder trapped him in an isolated canyon in Utah in 2003.
