More Summer Houses Articles Ness Gardens in the Wirral Peninsula has become a popular location for weddings and civil ceremonies, where people exchange their vows in a picturesque summer house overlooking a lily pond.
With views over the River Dee and the Welsh mountains, the summer house leads down to a rock garden and bridge and guests circulate among the award-winning botanic flora and fauna.
Garden owners can also go in search of the perfect summer house setting as Scotland hosts its Snowdrop Festival until March 15th. Over 550 gardens will open their gates to the public, from private owners to stately homes, allowing visitors to catch a glimpse of the first signs of spring.
Meanwhile, the annual Yellow Book has just been published in Scotland, listing the addresses of private garden owners who welcome visitors for charity in aid of Scotland's Gardens Scheme.
Such garden visits could then encourage garden owners to purchase their own summer house as an additional feature to their property.
